The machine consists of a pair of parallel rolling grinders which are used to roughly break open the malt grains. The two drums rotate in opposite directions for generating extruding force and shearing force to break open the malt. There are waves / grooves on the drum surface. The gap between the drums can be adjusted according to the requirements of the brewer and the degree of milling desired.
